Over 5,000 Norwegians have chosen the Kia EV6. The car of the year in Europe 2022 offers fast charging, a solid range, plenty of space, comfort and a design that many fall for. Kia is now ready with a market model adapted to the Norwegian market.
The price of the Norwegian version has been slimmed down more than the equipment list.
– The EV6 is selling steadily and well, but we also have signals from our sellers that many customers want an EV6 with a large battery and four-wheel drive for under NOK 500,000. We have now got that. We have looked at what we think Norwegians need and have secured a good and comprehensive package together with the factory, explains Christian Lagaard, communications manager at Kia Bil Norge.
This means that the Norway-adapted special edition car is still a well-equipped version. For NOK 499,000 you get the car with AWD. Many will manage with RWD and then get the car with the same equipment for NOK 469,000.

Heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, pre-heating of the battery, vegan leather seats, electric front seats with memory, lumbar support, charging plate for the mobile phone, electric tailgate, adaptive cruise, reversing camera, smart key, large navigation and OTA updates. Apple CarPlay, which the young people in the house are particularly keen on, is also included. Actually almost more equipment than most people use on a normal drive, claims Lagaard
He adds that this is far from a “spinke spare” model. You can also get a trailer hitch with a trailer weight of 1,600 kg. With the large battery, the WLTP range is 484km with AWD and 528km with RWD.
