The book value of the assets is stated at NOK 2.6 billion, but the work to secure values is demanding, according to trustee Christian Bohne at Advokatfirmaet Kjær.

The reason is that the company sells and hires machinery and equipment for the construction industry. As a result, a lot of equipment is located with a number of customers.
At the same time, it is emphasized that work has been initiated before the opening of bankruptcy to get the equipment registered.
Millions owed to banks
Work will now be done to clarify whether parts of the businesses can be continued and thereby secure jobs and maintain the value of equipment and facilities, Bohne states in a press release.
According to a ruling from the Agder district court, Agder Gruppen had financial obligations to Sparebank 1 SR-Bank totaling NOK 280 million.
Communications director Øyvind Askeland at Sparebank 1 SR-Bank will not comment on the matter to E24.

Other banks have also pledged tens of millions of NOK in assets linked to the companies in the group.
Tough negotiations
The board of Agder Gruppen announced on Wednesday evening that the company would announce a tender.
– Recently, there has been an intense process around possible solutions to save the group. Unfortunately, during the process, it has become clear that the scale of the challenges is clearly greater than originally thought, so that a rescue operation was not possible, the board wrote in a press release.
In the last few days, there have been fierce negotiations between the group and the lenders, and according to what the local newspaper Fædrelandsvennen was informed, the group needed between NOK 30 and 40 million to keep operations going.
Agder Gruppen has around 220 employees and has 13 locations in Norway and Sweden. The head office is located in Kristiansand.
