Crown Princess Victoria must go alone to Eurovision 2024

A few weeks ago it became known that the Swedish Crown Princess family would travel to the Eurovision final in Malmö on Saturday.

Reveals “secret” nickname

The court could confirm via Aftonbladet that the royal family would be present during the music festival, without sharing more details about the visit.

Now it is confirmed that only Crown Princess Victoria (46) is making the trip, and that the rest of the family must stay at home in Stockholm.

Must travel alone

– There is still a plan for Crown Princess Victoria to be present during Saturday’s Eurovision final in Malmö, says the court’s information manager Margareta Thorgren to Svensk Damtidning, and continues:

– This is the world’s biggest singing competition and it takes place in Sweden. Based on that, there is a plan for someone from the royal family to participate.

Thorgren, on the other hand, could not explain why it is only Victoria who will be present. One possible reason could be the high level of threat surrounding this year’s ESC final.

Big fan

The fact that Victoria is traveling alone means that it is probably a disappointed Princess Estelle (12) who will have to watch the show from home on Saturday.

She is a big fan of Marcus and Martinus (21), who are Sweden’s hope in the grand final.

Dreams can be crushed

Estelle has met the Trofors twins several times, most recently when they sang for her and others in the audience last year during Victoria Day.

However, there will not be a meeting between Sweden’s princess and Sweden’s Eurovision hope, but we can hope that Crown Princess Victoria takes a video greeting home to Haga Castle.
