Comedian Halvor Johansson has traveled around Norway this spring with the show “Halvorsprat”. Now he wants to have a serious talk with the person who bothers him at night several times a week.

– It has become a lot more recently, it has escalated a bit. There are some who have chosen to step up, he says.

Almost every night his phone rings, some nights several times, between midnight and 5-6 in the morning, writes Drammens Tidende.

Now the man who broke through with the radio column “Ta deg sammen” is quite fed up.

Completely silent on the phone

– The times I have managed to take it, it has been completely quiet at the other end, before it is hung up, says Johansson to NRK.

Therefore, he does not think it is an attempted fraud.

– I have received calls from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka before. After all, they would like something, or for you to call again, to drain your money. I have the feeling that there is a person who wants something else.

– But who doesn’t get it?

– Yes, or don’t dare. Or maybe he just wants to bother me.

Hardly an American dream…

He says that he has previously been called by stag parties and the like, and often at 11pm on a Saturday night.

– They just want to screw around a bit. But if this is bullshit, it’s incredibly dedicated bullshit.

Drammenseren was also in the VG series “Ikke lov å le på hytta”, and definitely no longer laughs at these telephones.

– Do you have any suspects?

– A friend said “it’s hardly who you want it to be”, because in the American film dream this is a terribly beautiful woman, who just wants my attention.

If so, she is quite modest.

– But that’s not it. It’s some brute troll who hates me or something.

Wakes up to vibration

Comedians quickly learn to put up with a lot. If you stick your head out and slap your lips, you often get a lot back – especially in social media. Female comedians, in particular, get a hard time, and Martha Leivestad last year came to terms with the harassment.

In this case, there is an uncomfortable silence that affects Johansson.

– I’ve teased half of Norway before, so you shouldn’t ignore the fact that there are people who don’t like me.

– Can’t you just turn off the sound on the phone and get rid of the problem?

– I have it on silent, but I don’t have an alarm clock, so I can’t turn it off completely. And then I wake up to the vibration of the phone, that’s enough.

Warns against the mother

The 35-year-old has not reported the calls, nor does he know if he will.

– My mother loves drama, and she asked me to go straight to the police. If she had been a police officer, she would not have dropped a single case. She loves finding things out, says the comedian.

He also says that the reason he posted about this on Facebook is that there may be someone who is struggling with something or other.

– Then I would rather extend a hand first, before I go to counterattack and to the police.
