On Friday evening, artists from all over Norway put on their finery and turned their noses at the Økern Center in Oslo on the occasion of this year’s big music festival – namely P3 Gull. A terrific show was delivered and four awards were presented.

Surprised with honest picture

Among those present was Alessandra Mele (21), who most people know well from Eurovision and Melodi Grand Prix. On Friday, she was among the nominees for the Breakthrough of the Year award, which eventually went to Aden Foyer (27).

Mele had never been to P3 Gull before and could admit to Se og Hør that there was a specific part of the evening she was looking forward to a little more.

– I’ve never been here before, so I’m excited. I hear the after party is good.

Mocking Norway

Several of the artists appeared at the award ceremony with their better halves. However, the 21-year-old arrived alone.

In June this year, she was able to reveal that she and her boyfriend had become cohabitants, after a year as lovers. During P3 Gold, however, it became clear that the young couple’s luck had run out.

In front of TV 2, Mele confirmed the breach.

– He is wonderful and I am very happy for him, but now there is so much going on in my life, and as the independent woman that I am, I need to be alone, she said, adding that they went their separate ways for three weeks ago.

She also admitted to Nettavisen that she is enjoying her new single life.

Hitting back at the accusations

– It’s nice to be single then.
