The third season of the reality show “Selling the OC” has finally made its way onto the streaming service Netflix. In the spin-off series of the iconic original series “Selling Sunset”, you get an inside look at the luxurious and extravagant lifestyle of the real estate agents from the Oppenheim Group’s Orange County office.
Broke after only ten months
But even the most glittering gold medal has its downside. For those who have followed the series for a while, you know that the American program is also full of intrigue, as well as spicy and troubled love relationships – as well as work relationships.
Just days before the premiere of the last season, one of the best central brokers, Alexandra Jarvis (33), also surprisingly announced that she had decided to leave the renowned real estate agency, due to what she claims is a “toxic work environment”.

Her former boss, Jason Oppenheim, 47, confirmed last month that Jarvis had tendered her resignation, revealing that she had decided to do what was best for herself.
– I respect the choice she has now made, and there is no bad feeling between us, he told the news website People.

Not everyone fully agrees with these statements. For faithful fans have noticed that Jarvis has probably felt a bit of dissatisfaction at work.
As recently as April 2024, Mail Online reported that Jarvis – who has always been transparent about his challenging working conditions in front of the camera – was now the third broker to choose to leave the agency. She then follows in the footsteps of Tyler Stanaland (34) and Sean Palmieri (36) who have also chosen to leave the workplace – for good.
Mail Online also pointed out that speculation that she was no longer employed had been swirling long before the news broke. This was because vigilant fans who had noticed that her profile was no longer visible on the agency’s website.
Speaking to People in April while promoting the third season, the 33-year-old admitted that she had left The O Group several months ago.
– Have tried everything
– There were many factors that came into play. The toxic culture was the catalyst for the dismissal, Jarvis explained at the time.
Furthermore, she added that she did not think anyone was surprised that she resigned from her position.
Now it’s over
– No. I don’t know what else to say other than I just know when it’s time to leave the party, she stated cryptically.
