According to the BBC, the eldest daughter of King Vajiralongkorn (70) of Thailand collapsed on Wednesday evening. Princess Bajrakitiyabha (44) is said to have collapsed while exercising with her dogs.

The BBC writes that the royal house in Thailand has confirmed the news.

The cause of the collapse is said to be a heart defect, and the princess was transported to Bangkok by helicopter.

There have been conflicting reports about the princess’s condition. The BBC writes that the royal house claims she is stable, while other sources claim her condition is more critical.

Princess Bajrakitiyabha is the king’s eldest daughter. He had her with his first wife, Princess Saomsawali.
