Doja Cat looked like she was getting out of the shower before the Met Gala. But later in the evening she was wet again.
Before the Met Gala started, Doja Cat appeared outside the Mark Hotel in New York with a white Vetements towel around her body. The rapper completed her out-of-the-shower look with a matching towel on her head and clear heels.
On the towel dress it said “suit” on a label. The make-up was dramatic with metallic “tears” down the cheek.
Glued to the body
Doja Cat’s wet dress, from the Swiss luxury fashion house Vetements, clung to her body – as wet t-shirts tend to do.
– This year it’s cotton, that’s the flower I’ve chosen. And I felt it was timeless to choose a white t-shirt and I feel a wet t-shirt is very sexy. So I went for it, Doja Cat told the AP news agency during the Met Gala.
This year’s theme was ‘The Garden of Time’ which celebrates the Met Museum’s new exhibition ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’.
At the Met after-party it was time for a new outfit, then the wet look was put away. She left nothing to the imagination.
Throughout the weekend, Doja Cat has served up various outfits, and she has hinted at a dramatic moment on the red carpet for the fans.
The rapper was photographed around New York in an outfit that looks like she just rolled out of bed – with a sheet wrapped around her.
She was also spotted in a two-piece see-through set, made of plastic wrap.
On her way to Monse’s pre-Met party, the superstar was pictured in a sleeveless Vetements leather cape with nothing underneath, just a thong and tights.
