Gypsy Rose Blanchard (32) made headlines around the world when she was convicted in 2016 of complicity in the murder of her own mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
It was Gypsy and her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn who planned and carried out the murder. In 2018, Godejohn was convicted of murder, and received a life sentence in prison. Gypsy, on the other hand, got 10 years, but was released early on parole.
That’s why it ended
There has been enormous interest in Gypsy Rose Blanchard after her release from prison, and within a short time she built up a large following on social media. Together with her husband Ryan Anderson, she spoke to a number of media, until the news broke that the two were divorcing.
New haircut
In March, she deleted all her social media.
Now, however, Gypsy has stepped back into the limelight, and has reestablished several social media outlets. In the comeback, she also shows off her new look.
She has let her dark locks fall in favor of a shorter blonde hairstyle. Page Six writes that Gypsy also went under the knife in April, and is now showing off her new nose. She has also got new teeth, which she has shown off to her followers.
Connecting with the ex after the breakup
The life of Gypsy Rose Blanchard received enormous media coverage in the wake of her mother’s murder. Documentaries and an HBO series have been made about the shock murder, which tells the grim story of Gypsy and her mother.
Appeared sick
Gypsy Rose had spent a large part of her life in a wheelchair, was dependent on a number of medications in everyday life, and could hardly eat proper food.
It would turn out that Gypsy could both walk and eat, and that she was never really in need of care. It was later claimed that Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen by proxy, which causes a parent or other trusted person to fake or inflict symptoms or illness on the person they support.
Gypsy has explained on a number of occasions that she regrets what happened.
