Karianne Vilde Spetalen’s expensive wedding detail caused a problem:

In January, it became known that influencer Karianne Vilde Spetalen (30) and billionaire’s son Kristian Spetalen (29) had given each other their “yes” in secret.

The former revealed that the couple got married spontaneously in the church on Norefjell in December. She revealed that in the podcast “Jennie and Karianne”.

The actual wedding will take place in Tuscany, Italy, with both friends and family in attendance. Unlike the secret wedding, the Italian wedding party will require a lot of preparation, including the bride’s outfit.

However, a problem arose when the 30-year-old was to receive his new wedding shoes. Spetalen shares that in a recent episode of “Jennie and Karianne”.

– I’ve bought shoes for NOK 15,000 and I was like: “I’ll step up and buy those shoes”. Manolo is hugely expensive, but it was what I felt I had to have for the wedding, says Spetalen in the podcast.

The shoes were ordered from the designer brand Manolo Blahnik, but when the package arrived at the door it turned out to be a product defect.

– Then they come, and a diamond is missing from the shoes. And then I think: “Okay, very nice shoes, but then I paid NOK 15,000. I won’t miss anything.”

When Spetalen contacted the store, she was told to send the shoes for repair, which, according to the TV profile, should take three to six weeks.

With little time for the wedding preparations, she therefore decided that she had to return the pair of shoes and find something else, which she also informed the store about.

– So what the hell, and then they haven’t answered me. It would be different if they were due for repair and I had worn them, but don’t send me defective shoes and expect me to be punished for it.

The bride-to-be can reveal to Se og Hør that she is still waiting for an answer from Manolo Blahnik in the hope of finding a solution.

– I think it was a bit awkward because I thought that now I have to manage returning them and fixing new ones and so on, but I thought that they would fix a quick replacement in view of the price, says Spetalen.

It would turn out to be a more time-consuming process than she first imagined, and Spetalen makes no secret of the fact that she would like to be sent a new pair in exchange for the broken pair of shoes.

– It became so time-consuming, and the solution they came up with was to repair the shoe instead of just fixing a new one, she continues.

The rest of the wedding planning has apparently gone smoothly, and the 30-year-old tells Se og Hør that the celebration will be good despite the missing shoes.
