It is the German magazine Focus that writes that the leaked Pentagon documents claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin has cancer.

According to the magazine, it says that Putin should have received chemotherapy on March 5.

Vice published parts of the document in question already two days ago.

The document states that Ukraine has received information that Russia’s national security adviser Nikolai Patrushev and Chief of Staff Valeriy Gerasimov planned to sabotage the war in Ukraine by redeploying troops in Ukraine – to put Putin in a bad light.

Gerasimov is said to have planned to throw the entire “special military operation” – as Russia officially calls the war in Ukraine – on March 5, while Putin received chemotherapy.

Rumors about health

Rumors about Putin’s health have swirled since the start of the war.

It has been claimed repeatedly that the Russian president has cancer, Parkinson’s disease and other illnesses. But it has never been confirmed by Putin or the Kremlin.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko thought Putin looked tired when the two met last week:

There have been many rumors about Putin’s health in the Western media throughout 2022. In June, Newsweek cited US intelligence that the president has been treated for cancer. This has never been confirmed by the Kremlin.

It has also been claimed several other times that Putin has been treated for cancer. Ukraine’s intelligence chief is among those who have claimed it.

The Danish Defense Intelligence Service has previously said that they believe Putin made his decision to invade Ukraine when he was under the influence of a type of cancer drug which, among other things, has the side effect that you can get a form of megalomaniac madness.

The Russian president has been very careful and for a long time went to great lengths to protect himself against corona infection.

When Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron met in Moscow before Russia invaded Ukraine, the physical distance between the two leaders caused a great stir.

Serious leak

The alleged Pentagon leaks are one of the most serious document leaks from the US military.

  • First, it was revealed that the US had no confidence that Ukraine could launch an effective counter-offensive.
  • Since then, the willingness of several countries to send weapons to either Ukraine or Russia has been leaked.
  • The latest revelation claims that almost 100 special forces from NATO countries are in place in Ukraine.

According to the documents, Britain has 50 special forces soldiers in Ukraine, while the rest of the 97 soldiers come from Latvia (17), France (15), the United States (14) and the Netherlands (1), reports the BBC, Sky News and The Guardian.

According to the Washington Post, the man behind the big leak is a weapons enthusiast in his 20s who worked at a military base.
