Sports, Football | Voted young player of the month in the elite series

--

Oskar Sivertsen has been the elite series’ best young player in the first month of this year’s season.

A jury consisting of TV 2 and Norsk Toppfotball thinks so.

– He is a big reason why KBK has had an adventurous start to the comeback in the Eliteserien. He has two goals and two assists in the first five games, TV 2 and Norsk Toppfotball write in the explanation.

KBK’s young winger was presented with the award at today’s training session by KBK’s sporting director Eirik Hoseth. He states to the club’s own website that they have not yet seen the best of the young 20-year-old and that he does not have a higher level. Sivertsen himself agrees with that.

– We have more to look forward to, in the first half on Sunday against Bodø/Glimt, they say to kristiansundbk.no.

There are probably more people who have noticed the youngster’s good play, both last year and so far this season. But neither KBK nor the team’s supporters need be afraid that Sivertsen will disappear any time soon. In mid-April, the 20-year-old signed a new contract with Kristiansund BK.
