Oslo Børs remained in negative territory on Monday.

At closing time, the main index is down 0.16 per cent.

The oil price is at roughly the same level as when the Stock Exchange closed on Friday. A barrel of North Sea oil (burnt spot) trades for 83.73 dollars at the time of writing, an increase of 1.07 per cent since midnight.

Bets on offshore wind and oil at the same time: – Visible in the city’s skyline

This is how it went with some of the most traded shares:

  • Equinor fell 1.33 percent
  • Yara ended down 2.03 percent
  • DNB rose 1.37 percent
  • Norsk Hydro rose 1.83 percent
  • Kongsberg Gruppen rose 1.26 percent
  • Aker BP fell 0.22 percent

On the earnings front, it was quiet on the Oslo Stock Exchange on Monday, before it picks up again already tomorrow. Then the farming giant Salmar will open the accounting books.

During the week, Lerøy, Austevoll, Grieg Seafood, Norse and Solstad Offshore also present figures.

Norse flew almost 100,000 in April

Since closing time on Friday afternoon, there has been more news from the companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

  • Airline Norse Atlantic doubled the number of passengers compared to the same time in 2023, flying 98,542 passengers in April, according to an update. There is also an increase from March this year, when the airline had close to 86,000 passengers. The Norse share rose 4.43 percent.
  • Mobile service company Link Mobility had a profit before tax of NOK 340.5 million in the first quarter, compared to a loss of NOK 31 million in the same period last year, according to a stock exchange announcement on Monday. The Link share fell 1.2 percent.
  • Yara Clean Ammonia has entered into an agreement with Greenko ZeroC for supplies of green ammonia from phase 1 of a production facility in Kakinada, India. The Yara share ended down 2.03 percent.
  • The offshore wind company Cadeler has received reservations for two vessels for two offshore wind projects under the auspices of Equinor and Polenergia in Poland, according to a stock exchange announcement on Monday. The potential value of the contracts to be negotiated during the period for the reservation agreements for the ships is expected to be in the range of 110-130 million euros, it appears. The Cadeler share ended flat.
