Sky Sports writes that an ambulance and medical personnel were called after an incident in the stands in the Conference League match between Aston Villa and Olympiakos on Thursday evening.
– The public is asked to clear part of the lower level so that the doctors can arrive. An ambulance has appeared in the space between the two stands. Worrying, writes a Sky Sports reporter in the channel’s live centre.
One person must have been taken on in an ambulance, and the second half was slightly postponed, according to several British media. It is currently unclear what has happened.
The match – which Olympiakos eventually won 4-2 – resumed, a few minutes later than planned after the break. The match is the first of two semi-finals in the tournament.
