The cancellation occurs as a result of the judge in the case making several mistakes and thus not giving Weinstein a fair trial, according to the New York Times newspaper.

He was sentenced to 23 years in prison for the rape of a young production assistant and a young actor in 2006 and 2013, respectively. The case must come before the court again.

Among other things, the judge allowed the prosecution to call a number of female witnesses who accused Weinstein of raping them. These charges were not part of the indictment against the film producer that was dealt with in court.

The Court of Appeal believes that Weinstein was therefore convicted not only for what he was accused of, but also as a result of other accusations that appeared in court.

It is not yet clear how the decision will affect Weinstein’s sentence.

Weinstein has previously been sentenced to 23 years in prison for the rape and sexual assault of two women.

He has also been sentenced to 16 years in prison in California for a rape at the Beverly Hills Hotel by the court in Los Angeles. This judgment has not been overturned and Weinstein is therefore not a free man.

In his time, the film producer was considered to be among Hollywood’s most powerful men, and the accusations against him were the starting point for the MeToo movement.
