Football, Sports | It’s okay to be disappointed by all the empty seats in the stadium

It becomes almost sacrilegious to talk about disappointments after a good match between two good football teams. What am I disappointed about? Yes, the number of empty seats, and that a Henrik Meister “on fire” did not capitalize on his wonderful game and efforts with a goal. Let’s hope he experiences a ketchup effect like no other in the games ahead.

Rolled ball

LSK initially had a lot of the ball in the first and last 5 minutes. In between, the 08 ball rolled in a way that was recognisable. Short and long passes in a beautiful combination interspersed with triangles and technical finesse.

We are aggressive so it lasts and kicks in the close matches. It’s a shame that we seem downright harmless today on offensive corners and the pressure. The second half was a little more varied when it came to ball possession. But Sondre Ørjasæter’s walk onto the pitch and the pass to Eirik Wichne, as well as the latter’s quality finish, were top class.

Sher was huge

Aimar Sher was absolutely enormous this Sunday evening and was deservedly named SArpsborg 08 player of the day. Eirik Wichne, Henrik Meister and Franklin Tebo were not completely gone either. On the whole, the whole team presented themselves in a completely different way than a fortnight ago. Nice that old friends Stefan Johansen and Jo Inge Berget were on the field again apparently without flaws. Yes, Stefan seemed alert and much more athletic than he has looked since he came to us. Over 90 + 7 minutes, it was a deserved and long-awaited victory. Big kudus to the gang in the supporters’ stand.

The cup’s 4th round goes against our evil nemesis in that tournament, Molde, of course at Røkkeløkka. It will be as it will be, but a 1-0 victory in the 94th minute is gratefully received. Then comes an important and presumably difficult away game for the elite series’ most underrated team., Sandefjord They beat Molde 3-1 today and I guess I don’t need to remind you of last year’s fiasco, so here is just to step up from the whistle goes in the whaling town.

After the match we had to wait to go to the car on orders from the police. This until the yellow-clad hordes had filled up the buses. I thought that football evokes emotions, but that flock of birds must consist of a lot of raptors.
