Fredrik Gulbrandsen left the pitch in the series opener in tears. Now the mold player has undergone examinations and it seems that it is not so serious.

– Fredrik has a small muscle injury. In the future, we will continuously assess when he is ready to phase into football training and matches, says Molde’s doctor Martin Engeland to TV 2.

It can bode well for both Gulbrandsen and Molde. The attacker has been in good form with seven goals in the Europa League since signing for the Roma in August.

In the elite series opener against Strømsgodset, Gulbrandsen barely managed to score Molde’s first goal before he laid down on the grass, and was then led off the pitch with his hands in front of his face.

– There is a crisis for Molde. He has been in amazingly good form at race tests and in the matches in Europe. He just flew over the grass. I understand that he is devastated, said TV 2 expert Jesper Mathisen.
