Parish, Control | The controllers reacted to this

– This was one of many that had everything in order. Happy with what can bring out a little smile and laughter, writes the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in the press release after the inspection on Monday.

In other words, the inspectors thought that the inscription referring to shoe use was funny.

Got juicy fee

What, on the other hand, did not create as good an atmosphere was a semi-trailer that was taken at the weight check. Here, the driver received a fee of NOK 10,200. A ban on use was also imposed until the vehicle had a legal weight.

Three wagon trains were also banned from use for overloading, and fines of NOK 5,200 and NOK 16,200 were issued to the companies.

A vehicle was also incorrectly marked with a sign that said “Wide load”, and this sign had to be removed before further driving.

On top of this, five vehicles received notices for technical defects, with a requirement to display them after rectification.

– Five buses were checked for seat belt use, it is stated, but no lack of seat belt use was registered here.

One vehicle had an object obstructing visibility that had to be removed before further driving.

In the end, a fee of NOK 500 was printed for the missing document.

– Otherwise, it was good what happened at the checkpoint, says the press release.

The Norwegian Road Administration also states that the police were involved from the start of the inspection in the morning. A blood alcohol test was carried out. The conclusion there was that there were no results on blood alcohol levels.
