Times and order are to be considered provisional. More speakers may arrive, and there may be changes.

Logistikk 2024 is organized by the sister publications Logistikk Inside and Moderne Transport, in collaboration with the Logistikkforeningen’s Eastern Region branch.

– We are very pleased with the interest in the conference so far. Now, three weeks before the conference begins, as many tickets have been sold as last year. And based on experience, the last few weeks are also where ticket sales pick up the most, says Glenn Lund, editor at Logistikk Inside.

In other words, it can be full here, so there is no reason to hesitate to secure your ticket at www.logistikk2024.no

The conference has become a tradition

– This year, too, we have a good and varied programme, and we can promise the conference participants an exciting professional refresher. But the program alone is probably not the reason why interest has “taken off” this year, it is natural to think that part of the reason is that the conference in its third year has managed to “settle down”. Once is an event, twice is a repetition and three times is a tradition. We see that many of those who have announced their arrival this year have been to Logistikk22 and/or Logistikk23, says Øyvind Ludt, editor of the magazine Moderne Transport.

– Much of the value in conferences lies in creating an arena and a meeting point where those working in the logistics field can meet, the editorial duo believes.

Network

There will be plenty of time to network with other logisticians, and if you have “time off from home” even after the end of working hours – you can also join the social boat trip on the Oslo Fjord after the conference.

– But here there are only a very few tickets left, so you have to be quick here, says Ludt.

The guaranteed sunny trip takes place in Oslo’s archipelago on board the beautiful sailing ship S/S Christiania from 1948.

The program for the conference is detailed, and you can see it in the fact box on the right (or at the top if you are reading on mobile).

– I am particularly looking forward to hearing about the opportunities that lie in the use of new technology, and not least how a company should go about adopting it. Everyone has a lot to learn here, says Ludt.

Shares the secrets of the merchandise owners

YOU WILL HEAR MORE ABOUT THIS AT LOGISTIK 2024:

Yara in collaboration on remotely controlled and autonomous goods handling

Together with editorial colleague Lund himself, he will be on stage to present the findings from the logistics editors’ large commodity owner survey, where they have mapped trends among a number of the country’s largest commodity owners in the choice of transport and logistics solutions, attitudes towards sustainability in logistics, willingness to invest, future transport needs and how they have adapted their supply lines in light of several years of major operational disruptions in global supply chains.

– And not least, we have gained an insight into how well prepared the goods owners really are for the big talking point in the industry, Digitoll, which comes into force as a mandatory scheme from 1 April next year, says Glenn Lund.

The digital revolution in the Customs Agency will affect most of the players in the industry, and section manager Stig Løland in the Customs Agency will talk about the status and share some tips and advice to prepare goods owners, freight forwarders and carriers for the everyday life that will hit them in less than a year. There, Morten Høgberg, head of customs handling at Kuehne+Nagel, will also talk about how they are experiencing the big transition and how they are preparing internally and their customers for what many have dubbed Norway’s “Brexit moment”, with reference to the customs challenges that arose when the British withdrew from the EU.
