The document center will contribute to ensuring a high degree of document capture, transparency and be an environment of expertise for the entire municipality. The section currently consists of 22 employees and will soon be located in newly refurbished premises in Sandefjord town hall.

Like our new one section leader you will have overall responsibility for operation, development and strategic planning of our document centre. You will lead a team that works with document handling, archiving and digitalisationand you will play a key role in the municipality’s transition to more efficient and digitized processes.

Work assignments

  • You will have overall responsibility for personnel, finance, results and development in the section
  • As manager, you will manage and develop the municipality’s expertise in documentation management
  • You will be responsible for leading projects and processes related to streamlining and digitizing document flow
  • You will work closely with other departments and external partners to ensure optimal integrations and functionality in our document management systems
  • As part of the municipal manager’s management team, you will be jointly responsible for the whole of the municipal area

Qualifications

  • Higher education in relevant subject areas
  • Managerial experience with good results, preferably within documentation management
  • Desirable with experience from archive services within public administration
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Good and relevant ICT competence, experience with digital transformation and process improvement is an advantage

Payment

  • Wages in accordance with agreement. The position is placed in the municipality’s salary regulations in accordance with the current collective agreement.
  • As an employee, you are a member of the Sandefjord municipal pension fund. The employee is deducted 2% in pension contributions.

  • Working language: Norwegian
  • Mutual trial period is 6 months.
  • The municipality complies with section 25 of the Public Information Act when publishing a search list.
