– We have just arrived following a message from an automatic fire alarm, and we have discovered that there is a fire on the premises.

– We have a lot of resources on site.

In a message from the police, it appears that a person has been taken out by smoke divers from the apartment in question.

– The person is looked after by an ambulance but does not appear to be seriously injured.

Residents in the block have been evacuated.

The fire service has the fire under control, but there is still smoke coming from the scene.

Total damage

Current apartment appears completely damaged and not habitable. The fire has not spread to other residential units, the police report.

A woman who was evacuated from the fire apartment appears unharmed, according to the police.

– The fire started in the kitchen and spread inside the apartment. It is too early to say anything about the cause of the fire itself, the police write in a press release shortly before 11.30 p.m.

Evacuated residents in the neighboring entrances are now allowed to return to their housing units.
