Bodø/Glimt really had to work for the points at home against Strømsgodset, but when it all came down to it, it was a good round for the all-yellows.
Because despite the fact that Glimt was the leading team, the goals kept coming. The home team had chances, but struggled to get a reward for their work.
Halfway through the match it was still 0-0 after a persistent defensive job from the visitors.
But in the end it cracked, the quarter ends, Håkon Evjen sent Aspmyra into the sky.
The Narvik boy slammed the ball into the far corner after beautiful preparation by the Dane Albert Grønbæk.
There were no more scores, but it was the visitors from Drammen who came closest to equalizing. Nikita Haikin had to persevere with a real match-winning save in the final minutes which ensured that all three points remained for Aspmyra.
Seen from Bodø/Glimt’s eyes, it was not directly wrong that golden rival Molde stumbled against Sandefjord at the same time, and lost 3-1 in the whaling town.
With Brannseier, Glimt now has a gap of two points down to second place and three points down to Molde in third place. In addition, with one game less played than both of the aforementioned.
A sliver of joy for Glimt was that Fredrik Bjørkan had to leave with an injury after just six minutes. Fortunately, we have a Dane named Adam Sørensen who came in and played big in the absence of the national team defender.

Glimt and Kjetil Knutsen have a real luxury problem at left-back, where they possess the Eliteserien’s best left-back, and the second best. Adam comes in without a proper warm-up but delivers a great game, full control of his back position and a moment of unrest offensively.

Just as important as always before Glimt’s last chance. Has it in him to last with some real match-winning cleans when you need it most. We have to be a little happy for our own part that he didn’t quite break through in the Championship and returned home!

Has probably had a bit of a slow start in his glittering journey, let’s be honest about Evjen. But today he shows that he really has something going on. Gets to play offensive inside runner where he thrives best and is a constant problem for the opponents. Crown the work with a beautiful score today.
