Last weekend, Sofie appeared on E24 and talked about her experiences in the company Shortcut. Sofie’s story about party culture, sexual harassment and the attempt to speak out created great interest.

Now, a week later, Sofie is a guest in Stop the World with community editor Torbjørn Røe Isaksen. In the conversation, she talks about why she decided to speak up, about the kind of feedback she has received and how she envisions the way forward.

Shortcut has been presented with some of the statements in the conversation. In a comment to E24, managing director Jonas Rein Tovsen says, among other things:

– What Sofie experienced when she was employed by us is unacceptable. We are sorry. It is very important for us to show that we have worked to overcome the lack of culture and that in the last two years we have devoted great resources and a lot of attention to dealing with the issues that Sofie and other brave employees pointed out. It takes courage to come forward with such a thing.

Stop the world is a podcast from E24 and Podme.

In Stopp verden, society editor Torbjørn Røe Isaksen meets a guest every week to talk about a topic – over a good glass of drink.
The conversations are about the big questions and the long lines, about how our society has developed and how we should maneuver going forward.
