It was at 03:00 on the night of Sunday that a car collided with a fence in Jekteviken. The driver reportedly fled the scene, but was caught by the police.

The driver blew above the legal value on the breathalyzer, the police say.

The driver was therefore reported for driving under the influence.

Knife threat

Otherwise, there were no major events in Bergen on the night of Sunday.

At 03:00 a threat with a knife was reported in Kong Oscars gate. The police came into contact with the two involved, but did not find a knife.

– According to the victim, a knife was shown. It is apparently about the sale of drugs, but no drugs have been found. I don’t think the trade has gone as planned, says operations manager Frode Kolltveit in the police.

No one was injured. The suspected man was reported for threats and expelled from the center of Bergen.

Overnight in the drunken detention center

During the night, one person ended up in drunken custody, because the person in question did not provide ID or comply with orders from the police, and was not able to take care of himself.

– It wasn’t the big things last night, says Kolltveit.
