Man hit in Oslo – probably intentional act

The police report that the man is seriously, probably critically injured.

They state that a person must have been hit by a car and then probably beaten and kicked several times. The incident happened at Torshov in Oslo.

The perpetrator has left the scene.

– We are looking for a car that drove away from the scene, informs the police in Oslo.

Operations manager Gjermund Stokkli says there have been witnesses to the incident.

– We received seven or eight emergency calls. It appears to be a deliberate act, he says.

Stokkli says the police believe there is an acquaintance between the parties, and that it is not a random person who has been attacked.

He says there are several people involved, but it is unclear whether there is one or more people in the car.

– A person may also have run from the scene.

A man is seriously, probably critically injured. Ambulance personnel are on the scene and are treating the man.

Stokkli says the police believe they will find the car using the usual methods, and says they are looking for a black BMW in the 730 series.
