Our Danish friends in Lukas Graham are back with the new song “Cheat Code”. This is their first new release since last year 4 (The Pink Album).
“Cheat Code” introduces a new, but nostalgic sound from Lukas Graham, and is the first single from the upcoming album.
The new single was written with American songwriter Autumn Rowe and Dutch hit producer Kizzo, known for his work with Jon Batiste on the Grammy-winning album We Are. Kizzo has previously worked with artists such as Usher, Dua Lipa, Jason Derulo and Ava Max.
The vocals for “Cheat Code” were recorded in front of a live audience at the legendary VEGA in Copenhagen. Over the course of eight consecutive days and nights, fans were invited to participate in the studio recordings live on stage. This unique and intimate live experience, also known as “The Recording Experience”, has led to several vocal recordings that will be heard on tracks from the new album.
The release of “Cheat Code” comes one year after the 2023 release of the band’s most authentic and reflective album to date: 4 (The Pink Album)followed by sold-out tours around Europe, the UK and the US.
In the summer, Lukas Graham can be experienced live in several places in Norway.
