The high season starts on National Day itself and lasts until August. During that period, T2, which consists of a Mexican restaurant and a rock pub, needs a good number of people.
– We are looking for waiters, bartenders and cooks for the summer season. And it is also the case that it is possible for those who get a job, that they can continue to work for us after the season if there is a need, says David Langa in T2.
He is excited about how the move will be this summer.
– I started in October myself, so I haven’t experienced the high season yet, but I have seen how many people turn up when the sun comes out, so I can imagine it will be very busy.
Among other things, Langa can tempt you with a very good working environment.
– We have a young environment that is very good to work in, says the T2 manager.
– We also want people to have the opportunity to learn and develop. It could be perfect as a summer job for students. We already have students who work at weekends, so it is a perfect job if you want to combine work with a great social atmosphere. Those who work here are already enjoying themselves very well. So I’m sure those who come will like it. If you are a person who likes people and likes to work somewhere where it is social, then just apply.
Two concepts
Toldbogata 2 is ideally located on Skansekaia in an older building. The building is split in two on the first floor with a Mexican restaurant in one part and a bar with a stage in the other.
– The food is based on real and authentic recipes and we make all the food from scratch. We are very concerned that the food should be of the highest quality and that people should be able to feel that this is really Mexican food.
– In the bar, we have a new concept, because we want to be a rocking place. Until the summer, it was a party place for young people, but now we are a rock bar and will continue to do so. You can also come here to enjoy a beer, play darts, billiards, pinball machines and listen to good music. We have concerts, quizzes and days where you can bring your own records. We can also have private events.
– Finally, I would like to brag, because we have the great outdoor dining area in the city, and it really appeals to the guests with a lovely view of the city and the sea.
