Buckets, soil and potatoes were the ingredients when Agriculture Minister Geir Pollestad (Sp) took part in Felleskjøpet’s campaign “Ready, done, then” at Oslo Central Station.

“Ready, finished, then” is a nationwide campaign with the aim of highlighting food preparedness and increased self-sufficiency in Norway.

The aim is to distribute a total of over 20,000 certified seed potatoes, many planted in a yellow Felleskjøpet bucket with a little soil.

The campaign started in Bergen last Monday and was then in the center of Trondheim on Wednesday, before Oslo made its way on Friday.

Pollestad handed out potatoes in the morning rush. SP leader and Finance Minister Trygve Slagsvold Vedum popped in after talking to travelers about the tax notice.
