The case is updated.

Oslo police district informs about the incident at 1.37pm on Monday afternoon.

– We are on the scene with many units in the Tøyen/Greenland area following reports of fights with knives, writes operations manager Kristian Wergeland Digranes at the Oslo police.

Furthermore, the operations manager states that the police have not yet come into contact with either the victim or the suspect.

In an update at 1.42pm, the Oslo police write that they have come into contact with a possible victim.

– Came into contact with an offended party who appears unharmed. Based on his explanation, this may appear to be a robbery where several suspects have disappeared from the scene. We are searching in the area, Digranes writes.

Operations manager Roy Langengen told Avisa Oslo that someone had shouted “knife”, but no knife was seen. The report to the police was that seven people were involved in a fight, says the operations manager.

– They have run from the scene now. Several are said to have gone on scooters, says Langengen to the newspaper.

Just before 2 p.m., the police report that they have a suspect under control and that no one is injured. No knife was found either.
