Monday offers spring warmth in Western Norway and Eastern Norway, but colder days await soon.
Monday 1 April at 10:52 a.m
In Southern Norway and Western Norway, the scale will show plus degrees.
– Today is a very nice spring day in large parts of southern Norway, says meteorologist on duty, Martin Granerød.
In Eastern Norway, the sun will shine from a lightly cloudy sky. In several places it will be around 13 degrees Celsius.
– It is the best Easter day in Eastern Norway so far.
In Western Norway, the scale will dip by 15 degrees in some areas.
Further south in the country, there will be slightly more clouds and not as hot, the meteorologist says.
– In Møre and Romsdal and in Trøndelag, there are clouds and a little light rain, says the watchman.
Has spring come?
Yes, in a way.
– It is capricious, hot and cold. Typical spring weather, says Granerød.
But in many places in the country, the weather is only good on Monday. Before it gets cooler again.
The area of Southern and Eastern Norway will be affected in the days ahead.
– On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, it is not certain that it will be three-four-five degrees. There are also possibilities for some precipitation, says the meteorologist.
– In Western Norway it will be fine today and tomorrow, and then it will be cooler and grayer in the areas there.
The weather in the North
In Central Norway, it looks like it will be gray on Monday and Tuesday, but that there will be long periods of sun on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
– It looks good in those areas. For Nordland’s part, it seems to be fine for large parts of the week. It will be sunny from today until Saturday, says the meteorologist.
In Northern Norway, the weather continues to be quite similar, as it has been during Easter.
– In Troms and Finnmark there may be individual snow showers in the coastal areas. The temperatures stay cold between 0-10 degrees below zero, the wintry weather in Norway.
