Ulrikke Brandstorp has found the man of her dreams:

The musical “Evita” is the story of Eva Perón – the poor girl who ended up as Argentina’s first lady – by virtue of her marriage to President Juan Perón. The public flocked to Oslo Nye Teater to be seduced by the story and the well-known music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

Love at first sight

The similarities between Evita and Ulrikke Brandstorp (28) are not striking, but both have in common that they are chosen first ladies!

– Ulrikke is my first lady – without a doubt, chuckles her boyfriend Oskar Nordberg (30) at the premiere.

– Very excited

They found each other in the first phase of the pandemic in 2020 – and it just said “bang”.

– I knew I had found the man of my dreams on the first date, smiles Ulrikke, and gives her boyfriend a kiss.

– Oskar already met mum and dad on the second date, and was “approved” immediately! beams the songbird, which came close to winning NRK’s ​​”Star Battle” in autumn 2018, and was to be Norway’s participant in Eurovision in 2020, before the pandemic put an end to it.

The lovebirds are planning their dream wedding, which will take place in Barcelona in June – with 160 guests! They have already been to Spain to “probe the terrain”.

– Planning is an important part of the wedding and the whole experience of getting married – which hopefully will only happen once in a lifetime! beams Ulrikke.

– I’m much better at eating what other people bake than baking myself!

The couple says that they have spent their Saturday evenings in front of the TV screen together.

– It has been great to see Ulrikke as presenter, and I am very proud of her, says Oskar.

He studied food science at the Norwegian University of Environmental and Biosciences (NMBU). He is now researching salmon processing. With his impending wedding to perhaps the country’s sweetest face, the Bergen native is by all accounts Norway’s happiest salmon!

Ulrikke herself is clear about the distribution of roles. When we met them for the first time in autumn 2020, her message was:

Ingar Helge Gimle (67) is another star – in the actor’s sky. His memory of Evita is based on Madonna’s 1996 film.

– I haven’t seen the theater version before, but I know the music and the dramatic story, says Ingar, who arrived at the premiere with his girlfriend Hilde Fossgård (50).

It’s almost two years since the adult turtledoves found love with each other. After watching Evita, Ingar is clear about who is the first lady in his own life:

– It’s Hilde, of course. Plus Kaja, my daughter, he adds with a smile.
