Eminem delivers the coup de grace to Slim Shady on upcoming album

Eminem is coming out with a new album called “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)”.

Shady is back, but it seems to be for the last time, writes Billboard.

Eminem released the news with a video on social media, made as a trailer for the documentary series “Unsolved Mysteries”, asking the question: “Who killed Slim Shady?”.

Fellow artist 50 Cent joins in and says in the video that Slim Shady “isn’t a friend, he’s a psychopath”. Also included is a bloody knife, archival footage of the rapper and a parodied presenter stating:

“Through his complex and often criticized rhythms, the blonde anti-hero known as Slim Shady has had no shortage of enemies. The same raunchy lyrics and controversial antics may have ultimately led to his death.”

Eminem also appears in his own video according to Variety and states:

– I knew it was only a matter of time for Slim.

The album is coming in the summer and is a sequel to Eminem’s studio album “Music to Be Murdered By”, which was released in 2020 and went straight to the top of the album chart.
