He is the heir to the salmon farming company Salmar and topped the list of Norway’s richest when the tax lists were published last year. Witzøe had assets of NOK 26.5 billion, an income of NOK 2.4 million and paid NOK 292.5 million in taxes.

Also last year, the salmon baron and the model participated in the fashion industry’s big party, which is organized by the legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
It is a great prestige to enter the party where many A-list celebrities participate, including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth.

The theme for this year’s party is “The Garden of Time”, inspired by a short story by the British author JG Ballard. The dystopian short story is about how the last bastion of the super-rich is attacked by a working-class mob, writes the BBC.

The event raises a large dollar amount each year for the museum’s Costume Institute. Last year it collected 22 million dollars (about NOK 242 million).
A full-price ticket to the event costs 75,000 dollars (about 825,000 kroner). However, several fashion houses buy tables and invite celebrities, who do not have to pay full price. The price for a table for ten people is 350,000 dollars (about NOK 3.85 million).
