Anne Heche: Left behind debts

--

In August 2022, actress Anne Heche crashed her car into a house in Los Angeles. Seven days later she died as a result of her injuries.

Heche, who lived to be 53 years old, left behind two sons, Homer (22) and Atlas (14).

The cause of death is clear

She had the former son together with her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon (50) and the 14-year-old with her ex-boyfriend James Tupper (58).

Following Heche’s death, the court concluded that it was her eldest son, Homer, who inherited the actor’s home – and with that also came loads of debt. This is shown by court documents Radar Online has gained access to.

The woman who lived in the home Hache crashed into demanded compensation for the damage. According to the website, the claim should have been for 6 million dollars, which corresponds to approximately 65 million Norwegian kroner.

The actress is also said to have borrowed approximately $157,000 from her ex-boyfriend Thomas Jane, which she is said to have promised to repay part of every month.

In new documents, it now appears that the son is asking for more time to settle the money claims.

– I was pressured to pay

“(…) Due to a number of unusual circumstances surrounding Anne’s passing and the potential litigation, it has taken considerable time and effort to get this right,” says the document from Homer, according to the website.

It also states that the mother did not leave large amounts of money behind either, which has made it difficult for the son to pay.
