Shannen Doherty prepares for death:

Actress Shannen Doherty (52) shared in March 2015 that she had been affected by breast cancer. Just two years later, she was declared healthy, but in February 2020 the cancer returned – this time with spread to other organs.

For almost ten years, she has fought cancer, and over the years has chosen to be open about her journey. In the past, she has, among other things, shared her thoughts about her own funeral.

Now Doherty opens up in her own podcast “Let’s Be Clear”, where she says that she has gotten rid of her possessions, and that she wants to make the lives of those around her easier after she has passed away.

– My priority now is my mother. I know it will be difficult for her if I pass away before her, she says in the podcast, according to Page Six.

– Because it will be so difficult for her, I want other things to be much easier. I don’t want her to have a lot of things to deal with. I don’t want her to have four storage rooms filled with furniture.

Doherty explains that the reason she has started going through her possessions and donating or giving away her things is in case something happens to her.

Last year, the “Beverly Hills 90210” star underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. At the same time, she went over her will again, which made her think about her own funeral.

– It made me start thinking about who is going to be there. And there are a lot of people that I think will show up that I don’t want there. The reason they come is not necessarily the best, and it’s not like they really like me, she said, adding:

– They show up at my funeral because it’s the right thing to do, and they don’t want to look bad. explains the actress, adding that she wants to remove that pressure from those concerned.
