Celebrities flock to the Elle gala

SOMMERRO / OSLO (Dagbladet): On Thursday evening, the stage is set for the ELLE gala at Sommerro in Oslo. There is great excitement about which celebrities will appear on the red carpet – no guest list has been sent out in advance.

ELLE is one of Norway’s largest fashion magazines and regularly organizes large parties where they invite Norway’s leading fashion personalities and celebrities.

Admittedly, in recent years there have been few grand events, as a result of strict restrictions during the corona pandemic.

– Life unraveled

Therefore, the excitement level is naturally a little extra high when the evening’s party kicks off at the exclusive Sommerro.

Dagbladet is present to have a chat with the celebrities who walk the red carpet.

The first to show up were Sebastian Solberg and his girlfriend Nicoline Anundsen. The couple were dressed in pink, and Anundsen was dressed in a transparent dress.

Dagbladet questions whether there is anything new, and hints that Anundsen looks like she is expecting a child.

– What is seen is seen, she says mysteriously, and adds that one wants to see if there is anything new with time.

– Will be so proud, look how beautiful she is, said Solberg to the press present.

Iselin Guttormsen and Tinashe Williamson have also arrived at the ELLE gala.

The duo showed up in matching outfits, and tell Dagbladet that the message behind it is women’s health.

– These are old wedding dresses from Fretex that have been redesigned, says Guttormsen.

– We have flowers where you might get your period, or bleed through. It is a symbol of normalizing menstruation, explains Williamson.

– We will show that you must have more focus on blood, says Guttormsen.

The two will present an award during the evening’s gala.

From trash to party

The newly married couple Vendela Kirsebom and Petter Pilgaard are also present at Sommero tonight.

– I like myself best in the ditch and come straight from a waste dump that had a water leak, says Pilgaard and says he had to throw on a good old-fashioned tuxedo.

– Straight from trash to party?

– Just right! And on the way to becoming full of rubbish, says Pilgaard jokingly.

Kirsebom can reveal that she has with her the purse she had during the wedding. Petter also wore the shoes he got married in.

Triana Iglesias wore a dress by James Lazar Braathen for the occasion, and wore vintage earrings from the same place.

– James, he’s good, she says and says that she’s looking forward to seeing people.

– It’s the first time I’ve been to Sommerro, she says.

Influencer Emma Ellingsen has also made the trip to tonight’s ELLE gala. She tells Dagbladet that she is wearing Anniken Jørgensen’s collection for NAKD.

– I’m doing very well, I’ve just rebranded my make-up brand, says Ellingsen about the recent times.

She and he also reveal a little about their love life.

– I date a little here and there, but nothing special happens. It is not.

Don’t have time for dating

Gunhild Stordalen is wearing an old dress for the occasion, and explains that she has stopped shopping permanently. That means she doesn’t buy clothes unless a garment has broken.

– What are your expectations for the evening?

– They are very tall. Heard that there is fantastic food that is mostly vegetarian and lots of nice people. I know they have been working on this party for a long, long time.

Otherwise, Stordalen can say that she has been busy with work lately and is therefore looking forward to an evening of partying and fun.

When asked if she is currently dating anyone, Stordalen replies:

– I have far too much to do for me to have time to date!

John Carew and his girlfriend Pernille Juvodden have donned their finery and are of course present at the gala.

The twins Vita and Wanda Mashadi have also made the trip and are wearing what they refer to as a “Norwegian design collaboration”. So they have helped design their outfits.

– What is the idea behind the outfits?

– We liked the look we had on “Gullruten” and wanted to go even more glam!, the twins explain.

They also reveal that what they look forward to most about the evening is seeing the other guests’ outfits.

– I feel that everyone has gone very “all in”.

Alexandra Joner has dressed in a green dress with a high slit, and thus stands out a little this evening.

– I’m wearing a dress from Handmade Dresses, she explains.

– I have tried to be a bit environmentally friendly and not buy, so I have actually borrowed!

She says that things have calmed down after “Maskorama”, and that she thinks it is very nice to be present at the ELLE gala.
