The 29-year-old tells TV 2’s “Good Evening Norge” that his form is now starting to improve after a couple of days.
– I have type 1 diabetes and use an insulin pump. Then it didn’t work as it should, so then you can get acid poisoning.
– I discovered it by vomiting continuously for several hours before I called an ambulance. I was then admitted to intensive care, given insulin and fluids intravenously, she adds.
The comedian first posted a photo on Instagram, where she wrote:
“Then I can cross acid poisoning off the bucket list. Finally got to test whether the prince really cares. Thanks to Lovisenberg who saved my life, grateful”. Lovisenberg Hospital is located in the center of Oslo.
Acid poisoning, or diabetic ketoacidosis, is a complication of diabetes and an acute condition that needs immediate treatment, according to Helsenorge.
