(Elbil24): On 6 June last year, Elbil24 wrote about the sharp price cut on the family SUV Nissan Ariya. At the time, prices were lowered by up to NOK 63,000 – obviously to reach more customers in a price-pressured market.
11 months later, Nissan has again cut the prices of the Ariya, this time by NOK 40,000-50,000 – depending on the version. As a result, several of the Ariya editions have decreased by over NOK 100,000 in the last scarce year alone.
– The price adjustment is an adaptation to the increasing competition in the Norwegian market, writes Nissan in a press release.

Four-wheel drive for NOK 459,000
With the new price adjustment, you can now get the cheapest Ariya for only NOK 349,900 including delivery. Then you get a 63 kWh battery, front-wheel drive and a range of up to 404 kilometres.
Many Norwegians prefer four-wheel drive. Here, the entry price is NOK 459,300 – a sum that is simply very good. Then you also get the large battery (87 kWh) and a WLTP range of up to 536 kilometres.

Several lower prices
In addition to the price adjustment, Nissan is now running an interest rate campaign of 1.99 per cent until 30 June. In addition, new customers can choose between getting a DEFA home charger or a service agreement with the purchase.
Nissan is not alone in reducing prices. Elbil24 recently wrote about Kia which, with a specially adapted Norwegian model, now offers the Kia EV6 with four-wheel drive, a large battery (77.4 kWh) and 505 WLTP kilometers for NOK 499,000.

The EV6 is a natural competitor to the Nissa Ariya. In Norway, at the time of writing, 5,161 copies of the Kia EV6 and 3,993 copies of the Nissan Ariya have been registered.
