An Airbus A320 aircraft from each of the companies is these days decorated with the slogan “Yes to Europe” to create attention around the election of representatives to the European Parliament in the member states 6-9. June.

The four planes with the new wording will start flying at the end of this week. On 13 May 2024, the group of aircraft will gather at Brussels Airport (BRU).

The A320s from Lufthansa and Eurowings are to be the first to take off this week – followed by Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines next week.

– A message over ten kilometers high and spread across the entire continent! With the clear statement “Yes to Europe”, says the Lufthansa Group in a statement.

Lufthansa Group says the new message is part of a group initiative for the European elections to “Take a stand – strengthen democracy”. In addition to the “Yes to Europe” declaration, the message also contains the European star wreath.

Before the EU elections in 2019, Lufthansa also showed its support for Europe with a branded aircraft. One of the airlines’ Airbus A320s had the slogan “SayYesToEurope” in large letters across the fuselage instead of the usual Lufthansa lettering.
