Russia’s ambassador in The Hague and representative in the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, OPCW, Vladimir Tarabrin, accuses Ukraine of “systematic” use of chemical weapons in the war.
– The Kyiv regime continues to use home-made ammunition, grenades loaded with toxic substances, as well as chambers with unknown chemicals against Russian forces, he told Izvestija, according to the Russian news agency Tass.

According to the diplomat, the use of toxic chemicals in Ukraine has already become systematic.
– The Kiev regime continues to use self-made ammunition, grenades, loaded with toxic substances, as well as reservoirs with unknown chemicals against Russian troops, he says.
He provides no documentation or examples to support his claims.
According to Ukraine, Russia has used chemical weapons in the war, especially K-51 grenades with tear gas.
According to the Chemical Weapons Convention, it is forbidden to use tear gas in war.
