iHarstad: On Saturday evening, the police had to go out to Trondenes. A motorhome had rolled through a guardrail and ended up in the spring stones.

The incident happened at the entrances to the new apartment complexes at Trondenes.

– A rather unusual place to camp, says Rune Nilsen at the police operations centre.

There should not have been anyone in the car when it started to roll.

– No one was injured during the incident and that is the most important thing. After all, motorhomes are made every day in the factories, concludes Nilsen.

Tired of dust along the roads: – A really broken case

Well placed on the shore

When the fire brigade arrived, all the cars were well positioned on the shore. It had come so far that all four wheels were in the water.

– There was never any drama. We had to remove the battery and gas, before we started working on getting it out of the water, says fire chief Kurt Jakobsen.

When the work began, it was only a couple of hours until the fleet came in.

– We were able to winch it in so that it was not standing in the water and eventually a crane truck came and lifted it up onto the road again, concludes Jakobsen.
