If you are going to move into the center of Oslo on Saturday afternoon, it might be a good idea to check the map further down in this matter so you don’t get any surprises.

Then the annual Centrumløpet starts.

The youngest participants, aged 3–5 years, start the children’s run at 1.30pm.

The first pool in the 10-kilometre trail starts at 3.30pm, while those who will run the 5-kilometre run start from 5.17pm.

Between 1.45pm and 6.30pm there will be several closed streets and some changes to public transport in the city centre.

Not allowed to cross by car

The entire route will be closed to traffic during the race. It will not be possible to cross the route by car. But all pavements are open to traffic, and it is possible to cross the trail on foot where there are trail guards, Sentrumsløpet writes on its website.

The subway runs as normal, but both buses and trams will have changes to their routes. Check Ruter’s deviation notices for more information about how your route is affected.

These routes are subject to changes:

  • Tram lines 11, 12 and 13
  • City bus nos. 20, 21, 30, 31, 70 and 81
  • Regional bus 150, 160 and 250

The 5-kilometer trail goes through Slottsparken and up to Oscarsgate, before taking a turn around Solli plass and back towards the center via Vika.
