News studio – Skier dead after accident

--

Shortly after 12.00 on Wednesday, the police in the West were able to report to X about a possibly intoxicated female nurse who was sleeping in the staff cloakroom at Haukeland Hospital.

When the police arrived, however, it turned out that it was not a question of a nurse, nor of any other employee at the hospital.

In front of Dagbladet, director of communications at Haukeland hospital, Erik Vigander, can say that they are now investigating how the woman managed to obtain the uniform.

– Many thousands go in and out of the changing rooms in the course of a day, and the pressure is high especially when there is a change of staff. If you want to sneak in or out, it is probably possible, he says.

He says that a cleaning worker first became aware of the somewhat unconventional deviation:

– We have vigilant employees who alerted security guards. They then contacted the police. We are investigating how it might have happened, he continues.

Haukeland Hospital is one of the country’s largest workplaces, and Vigander says that there are routines for access and access control, but that at the same time they want to be an open hospital.

– It is a balancing act that we must take into account. It is very rare that such incidents happen, and in my seven years here, nothing like this has ever happened before. It is nevertheless unfortunate.

The woman should not have had contact with patients.
