Southern Miss baseball is on the road Tuesday as it takes on Southeastern Louisiana.
The Golden Eagles (18-10) won their weekend series against Troy. Dalton McIntyre continued to shine as their leadoff hitter, raising his batting average .381. Coach Christian Ostrander also noted on Friday that second baseman Nolan Tucker could possibly make his return to the lineup after being out since March 1 because of a hand injury.
The Lions (18-10) have lost four of their past five games after previously holding an eight-game winning streak. They are led offensively by a pair of infielders in Shea Thomas and TJ Salvaggio, who both sport an OPS above 1,000.
