Xbox with a show during this year’s “non-E3”

--

(PressFire.no): There is a little over a month until this year’s “non-E3” (because E3 has been cancelled) takes place.

Now Microsoft confirms that they will have one of their “showcase” broadcasts on Sunday 9 June.

Upcoming games will be shown there, and we expect a look at, among other things, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”, and it is rumored that both “Gears of War” and “Call of Duty” will appear.

In fact, Microsoft announces that they will have another broadcast right after the showcase, which focuses on an established series. To tease us, they have posted this picture:

What could it be? Call of Duty. It’s always Call of Duty.

This image shows (among garbled text) an emblem of a three-headed dog.

Coincidentally, “Call of Duty” has recently been updated and code sniffers have found a file called “jup_br_s3_cerberus_reveal_steel” in the update.

That file looks like this:

Hoin.

And Cerberus (or Kerberos) is the three-headed dog that guards the underworld in Greek mythology – as well as being the rumored code name of the next “Call of Duty” game, which will reportedly be of the “Black Ops” variety.

The fact that we get a “Call of Duty” broadcast thus works soooo awesome clear – and this will therefore take place immediately after the Xbox presentation.

It all starts on Sunday 9 June at 19:00 Norwegian time.
