English newspapers reveal on Sunday that Will Ferrell is following in the footsteps of his Hollywood colleague Ryan Reynolds, who bought Wrexham with Rob McElhenney in 2020.
How large a stake Ferrell has bought is unclear. The Sun writes that he has secured a “large shareholding”, while the BBC claims that it is a smaller investment. Owner of Leeds is 49ers Enterprise.
Leeds United will not confirm the information.
