(Fredriksstad Blad) It is Johnny Arntzen from Hvaler who is on board the missing boat. HRS now goes out with a picture of Arntzen and asks people to get in touch if they have seen him or know where he is.
– The man’s relatives have not been in contact with him. He left Herføl on Wednesday morning in a relatively small leisure boat and was going down the Kosterfjord and probably further along the Swedish coast. The goal was to cross over to Skagen, says communications consultant Anja Bakken in HRS Southern Norway.
Several rescue agencies are involved in the search, she says.
– The Swedish and Danish rescue services are out searching, and the Swedish sea rescue service has deployed a plane, she says.
– We have been out searching for the man and the boat and have been ashore at Torbjørnskjær and Heia. Now we are at Tisler ,. It has been blowing quite hard the last few days, says chief engineer Anders Ødmann on RS 172 Ragnar Stoud Platou.
