Police: – Sorry

--

A motorcyclist has consented to the temporary confiscation of his driver’s license after he was stopped far above the permitted speed limit in the Fortress Tunnel in Oslo.

The police sign it https://twitter.com/oslopolitiops/status/1788271148490236141Wednesday at 7.30 p.m.

The police first stated that it was a matter of speed over 100 km/h over the speed limit on the spot, which is 70 km/h.

In a new update, the police write that they have made a mistake in their log, and that the motorcyclist did not drive as fast as initially written.

– The driver drove at a much lower speed than first reported, the police write in the update.

They state that the speed still corresponds to a driver’s license suspension.

– We sincerely apologize that the wrong speed was initially reported and the error has been corrected internally in our log, they conclude.

The motorcyclist was stopped by a motorcycle patrol.
