On the night of Wednesday, there have been attacks against several regions in Ukraine.

This is reported by the Ukrainian military on Telegram.

The Ukrainian newspaper Kyiv Independent writes that there is talk of a massive Russian air attack.

They write that cruise missiles, rockets and drones have been fired at several different regions during the night.

On social media, there are reports of explosions in the capital Kyiv, and the Reuters news agency writes that they have spoken to witnesses in the city who confirm this.

According to Ukraine’s largest electricity company DTEK, several power plants have been seriously damaged in the attacks.

The governor of the Zaporizhzhya region, Ivan Fedorov, also writes that there have been attacks on the night of Wednesday.

– They went after critical and civil infrastructure. There is destruction, he writes on Telegram.

Explosions have also been reported in Poltova.

No injured persons have yet been reported.

Mayor Andriy Sadovyi of the city of Lviv writes on Telegram that people must seek refuge because rockets have been reported in the region.
