The conflict in TIL 2020 continues – head coach Emil Inauen released from his contract – NRK Troms and Finnmark

– We have had several conversations and meetings in recent days. Unfortunately, we have not come to an agreement, and we have therefore considered it right to release Emil from the contract, says manager Linda Wilhelmsen in a press release.

On Wednesday last week, the players were informed that Inauen had been exempted from work duty. Now he is also released from the contract.

– This is a demanding matter for everyone, and we respect that Inauen sees the matter in a different way than we do. Our primary goal is and has been to establish calm around the team and the club, says Wilhelmsen.

She will not comment on any matters related to the background of the club choosing to release Inauen from the contract.

Inausen tells NRK that he has no opportunity to comment on the matter now.

Assistant coach Edvard Vassmyr has taken over as head coach until a new permanent solution is ready.

Emil Inauen was hired as the new head coach for TIL 2020 in January last year. He is originally from Switzerland, but has lived in Norway for around 14 years.

The football club TIL 2020 plays in the 1st division for women.
